Christine is the financial guru behind Farrah Rose. Here, she aims to help create a serene and calming atmosphere for our members, so they have a sanctuary amidst the hustle and bustle of their hectic lives.

While creativity may not be her primary forte, Farrah Rose serves as her outlet for expression and enjoyment allowing her to tap into her imaginative side and love for design. Christine is driven by her passion for enhancing relaxation for members while also striving to establish a distinguished business that contributes vibrancy to Downtown Dexter.

Back when Always Tan had occupied the Farrah Rose building, Christine was a regular tanning client during her high school years. Now, the Farrah Rose Team wants to honor Angie’s hard work and revive this space, infusing it with new life and purpose.

Benefitting from the diverse skill set of our whole team, we envision Farrah Rose as a Lounge where you can hangout with friends, elevate your Glo with our UV beds or spray tans, and luxuriate in well-deserved peace.

When she’s not at Farrah Rose, Christine enjoys leisurely walks with her dog, leading spin classes at the gym, and listening to true crime podcasts or Taylor Swift, all while fulfilling her role as CFO for another local family-owned business or exploring new places through travel.

In the bustling world of real estate, insurance, and managing a busy family with 4 kids, demands often dictate the rhythm of life. But there exists a calming oasis curated by the visionary Amelia Rose Banken.

Beyond her thriving day job, she finds solace and creativity in the warm glow of her own creation - a lounge that stands as a testament to her passion for beauty and entrepreneurship.

Amelia’s professional roles allowed her to discover her love for the beauty industry at an early age. This affection blossomed during her teenage years when she took her first steps into the world of cosmetology. The journey began at N'Style Galleria, formerly known as Lois', where she honed her skills and earned her cosmetology license through an enriching apprenticeship.

Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to infuse creativity into her daily life, Amelia, along with her partners, embarked on the journey of owning and operating Farrah Rose Glo Lounge. This venture allows her to channel the artistic energy she adores about the beauty world while balancing the demands of a corporate career.

While her day job might be filled with meetings and deadlines, Farrah Rose is where Amelia can truly express herself. It's not just a business; it's a canvas for her to paint a picture of relaxation, beauty, and tranquility. From the inviting ambiance to the carefully selected products, every detail reflects her commitment to providing a haven for those seeking an escape from busy life.

Despite the demands of her dual roles, Amelia remains actively involved in the quality of service and products offered at the tanning lounge.

Amelia is certified through Norvell University in CORE Sunless Tanning.

Elizabeth, known by Beth by most of her family and friends, is the creative mind behind Farrah Rose. Although she holds a love for art and creativity, Beth is actually a Licensed Clinical Social Worker by trade and a daytime Clinical Director and Therapist. Beth brings warmth, experience, and knowledge to Farrah Rose through understanding people and the importance of self-care, stress management, compassion, rest, and love. She believes this is the foundation of the Farrah Rose brand and is at the center of everything she does.

“Farrah Rose is important to me because it is a symbol of what we as humans need most: self-love and care. I find that both personally and professionally, people tend to forget about themselves in the busy world we live in. I think Farrah Rose is the perfect way to reconnect with that. This is my first business venture and it’s such a fun opportunity to share something that I’m so passionate about with the community that raised me and with my sister (Christine) and our childhood best friend (Amelia). It’s really a dream come true and I’m so excited to see where Farrah Rose GLOs—I mean, goes.” — Beth

When she’s not meeting with therapy clients, working at the hospital, or cracking jokes in Farrah Rose business meetings, she can be found hiking, kayaking, traveling, reading, and cuddling with her two over-sized dogs: Ellie and Goose. Beth is currently located in Springfield, Missouri but loves coming home to the GLO Lounge as much as possible.
